Lotts and Lots | Making the everyday beautiful

about

Hello there I’m Charlotte.

I love celebrating ways to make the everyday beautiful using what you have around you. In between raising my two little children I try and make and grow as much as I can.

After a brief stint in fashion (designing tights amongst other things) I spent most of my time pre children working as a PA. Frustrated by the lack of creativity in my day I started jewellery making and holding secret classes in offices. I tentatively started blogging as a way to record what I was creating and from there I have shared all sorts of makes - from necklaces to renovating kitchens! What I’ve always loved, is creating and I hope inspiring others to get busy with their hands.

Along the way I've been lucky enough to work with some amazing publications and companies including...
Mollie Makes
Red Online
Lisa Comfort
Liberty
Wayfair
West Elm
Laura Ashley
Bloom & Wild
The London Jewellery School

Have a look around and if you need anything please drop me a note - lottsandlots@gmail.com

Happy making! xx

My name is Christine, and I'm the Managing Editor for Jewelry Affaire, a magazine that showcases handmade jewelry! I would love to talk to you about getting some of your pieces into one of our upcoming publications. I've been perusing your site, and I really think the attached piece could be a great fit in our magazine:

    http://lottsandlots.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/diy-leather-stud-necklace.html

Would you be interested in pursuing this option with us?

If you're interested, I'd be happy to answer any questions or further explain the process at cstephens@stampington.com. I hope to hear from you soon.

    Best,

    Christine Stephens

    Hi,
I’m Janine recent opener of Vivid Yarns online wool shop.

Could I interest you in being featured on my blog, Joy & Crafter? A blog to encourage people in a rut or not feeling too good about themselves to try something new.

I’m looking for interesting creatives to contribute. I’d like the first crafters featured to offer a very basic introduction (tutorial, photo tutorial or video), to their craft.
Something you have already made, could be effective or updated.

Any participants will have a link to their, shop, website or blog included and I imagine that whoever does the beginners basic tutorial page will be permanently featured or at the very least I’d hope so (but not sure how that will work yet).

Joy & Crafter goes live 30th May 2015, so, if you are interested in that get back to me asap.
Otherwise drop me a message about doing something in the future.

    Email: joyandcrafter@gmail.com

    Twitter: @vividyarns or @joyandcrater

    Kind regards,
    Janine

    Good morning,

    I hope you're well.

My courier service client is looking to participate with five ultra-craft bloggers to see if they ave what it takes to create something new and exciting... out of a cardboard box.

Whether from make-up boxes, house accessories to useful gadgets for the home, it's your choice!

As an intensive, we will be offering each blogger a £50 Hobby Craft voucher for you participation!

In addition to this, if you could let us know your unique idea before posting - that would be great!

    Any questions,

    Just let me know!

    Thanks,

    Hayley

Hello, I purchase the Mollie makes magazine with your editorial for the gold craft kit which included gold faux leather. I'm just wondering if you can direct me as to where I can purchase more of this leather from? Thanks

    Hi!

I've just seen your site and wondered if you'd like to look at my creative blog. I'm a 62 year old artist and writer and renaissance soul and I've recovered from depression and anxiety after 30 years. I'm now making up for lost time. I'm hoping to reach as many people in this situation as possible to give them hope and perhaps some enjoyment.

Today I trained Back which was a great session. Fine tuning food intake as I go now just to allow a little variety so I'll try and post a little more, there won't be great changes to start with, I'll be keeping supplements similar also.

My entire working career up until that point had only been the safe route with a large corporation. You know the life. The daily grind. The BS you put up with because you figure this is the ONLY way. I even went on to get a psychology degree because the jobs I had been looking at required it. When I finished my degree I found that the amount of education I had was once again not enough.
