Styling The Seasons and at {mine} floral wreath making workshop

Thursday, 28 May 2015

A wonderful photo filled post today! Last month Katy and I along with the lovely ladies from at {mine} hosted a floral wreath and posy making workshop, taught by the fabulous Caroline from Wild Rubus and flowers from Bloom and Wild. It was the best day and luckily for us we had Katharine Peachey on hand to photograph the whole thing.

To recap, we invited our Styling The Seasons bloggers and at {mine} beta members to pick their favourite entry for the month and join us for a morning of floral goodness. It couldn't have been better, the morning started with everyone putting names and faces to instagram accounts and then descended into a hive of floral activity. Every time I looked around there were beautiful bunches of flowers moving across the room accompanied by "oohs and ahhs" and "that's so pretty" - you can really trust a group of bloggers/instagrammers to appreciate the beauty of flowers and make every surface look like a page from a magazine.

What I love most about Styling The Seasons is the community that has been created, meeting such a fantastic group of supportive and inspiring ladies has got to be one of the biggest highlights to come from the series and blogging as a whole. Having the opportunity to meet people in real life makes everything that much sweeter and hearing stories behind posts and listening to ideas fills me up for weeks. I never dreamt Styling The Seasons would have come this far when Katy and I sat in the park planning the first post almost a year ago. We have so many ideas and events we want to do, make sure you keep following for updates.

As a final note a want to say a huge thank you to everyone that came on the day but also to everyone that takes part on a monthly basis you really are the best! Until our next event, I'll leave you enjoy the photos of the day...

So nice to see photos, I saw all the talk on Instagram and it sounded like such a fun event! Your wreaths are beautiful... I'll have to pin some pics for inspiration when spring rolls around here. xx
